Actress Alicia Silverstone, 34, is expecting her first child with her husband, Christopher Jarecki, her rep told PEOPLE Magazine Friday.

The two have been married since 2005.
While Silverstone still acts, she’s also become well known as an author, recently penning a vegan cookbook. She will next appear on the big screen in Vamps, a drama featuring Sigourney Weaver.
