Friend’s new prospect

Posted March 26th by admin in Daily

A guy friend of mine was so excited when we saw in a certain show this morning that there is a new ford focus coming out.  He is so in love with Ford cars, he even has a name for his old Focus wagon, he called it his precious. He bought his car back in 2004 and I can say that up to now the car is still kicking and still good. But for some reason he want to buy a new one and his planning to give the old one to his younger brother.

I bet by now you have an idea what car he wants to buy, of course it’s the new ford focus that we have watched awhile ago. Well, he says that this new ford focus looks pretty amazing, he really love its exterior design as well as the interior design.  It’s a small car for people who want a small nice car that gets good mileage but is still sporty and seems like fun to drive. This car has a safety and convenience technologies include keyless entry and “Ford Power” start button, a rear view camera and a semiautomatic parallel parking system that automatically steers the vehicle into a parking spot. Well, he just hope that his 2004 Focus wagon will last until the new ford focus gets here.

Posted January 3rd by admin in Celebrity Gossip

As we bid farewell to 2009, it’s time to look forward and put together our list of our most anticipated movies of 2010. What does Hollywood have to offer us in 2010? Here’s are handy little guide to the most anticipated flicks, the surest box office bets, the movies you’ll be looking back on fondly a year from now.

So, without any further delay here are the lists.

Clash of the Titans

If one is looking for a movie about Greek mythology with premise of pure entertainment, “Clash of the Titans” is definitely the one to be checked out. A remake to the 1981′s box office hit of the same name, this fantasy adventure comes from “The Incredible Hulk” director Louis Letterier and is loosely based on the myth of Perseus. “Avatar” leading man Sam Worthington will uphold his action star status by delivering some intense action, and the special effects team will exhibit CG-galore by bringing to life some unholy demons and fearsome beasts like Medusa and Kraken.

Salt

At first glance, “Salt” seems to be not much different from any other thrillers Hollywood has ever produced. But, its plus point comes from the fact that leading actress Angelina Jolie has been kicking some serious butts in many of her action movies. Just take a look at “Tomb Raider” series, “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” and the latest “Wanted (2008)” as proofs. So, when she fills in for Tom Cruise who decided to back out in mid-2008, a series of splendid action sequences could be anticipated. From what has been teased so far, the movie won’t be lacking of actions for sure.

The Last Airbender

The year 2010 reels in one movie for the many fans of Nickelodeon’s award-winning TV series “Avatar: The Last Airbender ” out there. “The Last Airbender” will bring to life the popular cartoon characters from the heroic Aang to the deplorable Prince Zuko with the help of some fresh faces in Hollywood. One of them is “Slumdog Millionaire” leading man Dev Patel. It will be cool to see the actor beyond his rags-to-riches teen character. Another interesting catch for “Airbender” is the touch of auteur M. Night Shyamalan. He is breaking out from his supernatural genre. Whether he is to be loved or hated is to be proven with this fantasy movie.

Unstoppable

The runaway train came down the track and she blew. Luckily, Denzel Washington was there to stop her, because this particular train was loaded with all manner of toxic nastiness and headed straight for a Pennysylvania town. Based on a real event that took place in 2001 near Columbus, Ohio, Unstoppable will be putting us all off rail travel in November 2010.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

Prince-of-Persia

Movies based on video games are rarely classics. Prince of Persia stands a better chance than most, roping in Jake Gyllenhaal as the eponymous prince with Alfred Molina as his father figure and Ben Kingsley as the villainous Grand Vizier. The 1989 game is still spawning sequels, whether the film adaptation will do the same remains to be seen.

Alice in Wonderland

Tim Burton assembles his informal repertory company – Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, composer Danny Elfman – for this brightly-coloured reinvention of the Lewis Carroll story. Effectively a sequel to the original book, it employs a galaxy of British thesps to portray the denizens of Wonderland. Look for Stephen Fry, Alan Rickman, Michael Sheen, Timothy Spall, Christopher Lee, Paul Whitehouse, Frances de la Tour and Barbara Windsor beneath the layers of CGI and prosthetics. Out in March, it should dominate cinemas over the Easter break.

Twilight Saga: Eclipse

Eclipse Movie Twilight 3

The huge success of the Twilight teen-vamp series shows no sign of abating. This next episode dwells on a war between vampires and werewolves as doe-eyed mortal Bella gets caught in the middle. Why can’t vampires and werewolves get along? This is about the third film I’ve seen with this plot. The Twilight saga’s growing legion of fans will flock to this in their black-clad droves knowing exactly what to expect. It’s a new director again: David Slade this time, because New Moon director Chris Weitz was still hard at work on the second episode when production on this one started. It’s reasonable to expect a Stephenie Meyer film every year until 2012 at the very least.

Toy Story 3

There’s considerable buzz around this long-awaited return of the original CGI animated franchise. Instalments 1 and 2 looked spectacular when converted to 3D, arguably better than many of the more sophisticated animations that came after them. There’s no doubt that Toy Story 3 will be at least as eye-poppingly pretty. What it all boils down to, though, is the quality of the story. Pixar is celebrated for the quality of writing that it maintains. Set ten years after the last movie, this script has the toys seeking out a new home after their original owner has binned them and left for college. Expect the usual high standard from Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and the rest of the gang. As well as at least one incredibly sad song from Randy Newman.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I

Part one of the final Harry Potter movie. Part two will follow in July 2011. Devoted fans have known what happens in the story since 2007; for newcomers, Harry and his pals Ron and Hermione search for some magical artefacts called Horcruxes. The plot takes the trainee wizards out of Hogwarts for much of the movie, resulting in a marked change of atmosphere compared to its predecessors.

Iron Man 2

When “Iron Man” came out in 2008, not many would dare to imagine that it will be as big as it came to be. Not only it received highly positive reviews from film critics, it went on to become the third highest-grossing opening weekend of 2008 behind the highly anticipated “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” and “The Dark Knight”. With its grand success, no wonder Marvel races to deliver its sequel. Aiming for similar response, the studio will present “Iron Man 2″ in a lot more tantalizing charms. Hiring many A-listers, such as Mickey Rourke and Scarlett Johansson, is one of them. The first appearance of the much-awaited War Machine is another one worth the wait.
